Pope-Alpatine is an alien who attacked Earth in 2012 PLF. Taking the form of the honorable Pope Benedict XVI, it took over the Vatican, the Christian centre of the planet.
The creature very nearly destroyed the entire Vatican and would have succeeded if the Doctor hadn't intervened and destroyed the creature.
