Luke Skywalker is a famous Jedi and the son of Darth Vader. He lived on Tatooine with his Aunt and Uncle, but when they were killed by Stormtroopers for not moving along he got mad and joined the Rebels. Obi-Wan Kenobi taught him the ways of the force just like he had done for his father, and Luke went on to become one of the most famous Jedi ever when he destroyed the first Death Star, and engineered the fall of the Galactic Empire.
His hand was severed by hie father during one of their duels, and he got a robotic replacement and a new Lightsaber that was green instead of blue, showing his advacement in rank during that time. Luke was eventually responsible for the death of Darth Sidious at the end of the maniacal Sith's reign of terror over the Force Galaxy, and Luke was even able to turn his father back to the light before the old man died. Luke then went on a massive trek round the Galaxy to resurrect the Jedi Order, and he recruited Jedi from all over the place to at last restore the Order to its former glory. The great Kyle Katarn were trained by Luke himself and Luke's legacy allowed the Jedi Order to continue for millenia.
