The planet of Pandora, as seen from space
Pandora is planet located in the 4th arm of the Milky Way Galaxy and is covered in dense forests and seas. It resembles what the Earth looked like before the Humans urbanised it, but with a lot more greenery. It is inhabited by a huge variety of animals and plants and the main intelligent species living on the planet are the Na'vi.
Later in its history, Humans brought large cruisers which housed many thousands of soldiers,scientists, workers etc. plus a huge amount of supplies, which would build a new base on the planet. The reason for this project was to harness the mineral that lay deep within the planet. After being met with harsh resistance from the Na'vi, the humans and Na'vi met an ever-lasting peace. Currently the mineral is being extracted but at extremly remote location, to inhibit the damage of forest life, from the machinery.
Pandora also has a very stange feature in that the entire world is linked by one massive neurological network which links all the living things on the planet. Another strange feature of the planet is its odd gravitational fluctuations makes certain areas of island float above the ground. Strange.
