Wat Tambor on Geonosis
Wat Tambor was a CIS leader who also happened to run the Techno Union, a combination of several manufacturing companies (including elements of the Trade Federation and the Intergalactic Banking Clan) who created all the Battle Droids of the CIS Army and Navy. Wat Tambor's role in the CIS was to facilitate and manage the droid factories scattered across the Galaxy and oversee the creation of newer and more powerful droids.
Tambor was involved in many experimental pet projects during the Clone War, including experimenting on native life forms on planets that the CIS had conquered, divising cheap and quick ways of creating new and more powerful battle droids, enslaving civilisations to use as workers for their factories and adapting his voice program so that he could actually talk properly without descending into unintelligible beeps and boops every so often.
Tambor was among the Seperatist Leaders on Mustafar executed by Darth Vader at the conclusion of the Clone War. He, along with Nute Gunray and Rune Haako, decided to hide in the conference room from Darth Vader but this did little more than prolong his life by a few minutes as Vader soon cut his way into the conference room and stabbed Tambor through the chest, killing him.
